A fountain project comes to life on site, where equipment, water effects, lighting and the surrounding space have to work together. In October 2026, a Sews Fountain engineer traveled to Cagliari, Italy, to help the local team install and commission a dry deck fountain. The on-site work was completed successfully, and the fountain was tested in both daylight and after dark.
The project photos show the fountain area before the water effects were switched on, as well as our engineer working at the site during installation and testing. Having a Sews Fountain engineer present meant the team could review the setup together and make adjustments where the system was actually installed.
This was practical, hands-on project support. The engineer worked with the people on site, checked the developing water display and helped bring the installed equipment through its commissioning tests. The photos and videos document real work in Cagliari, from the dry deck surface and the on-site setup to the running fountain.
During daytime tests, multiple jets rose from the patterned ground surface. The site footage shows the display from several viewpoints, making it easier to see the layout and the movement of the water across the space.
After dark, the team tested the illuminated display. The night footage shows the jets lit in pink and purple, with other lighting visible around the fountain. Together, the day and night views show how the same space changes when the water and lights are running.
The on-site installation and commissioning support in Cagliari concluded successfully. For Sews Fountain, the most meaningful part of this project is the work behind the result: our engineer went to Italy, worked with the local team and saw the fountain running on site. The images below are from that visit and the subsequent tests.
